Cold Laser Therapy in Bellevue

Cold laser therapy, or low level laser light therapy, can be a powerful adjunct to healing when combined with chiropractic adjustments and other soft tissue work. At Endeavor Health and Pain Management, we use a medical grade Class IV K laser, which is the same type of laser used in hospitals.

How Does Low Level Laser Light Therapy Work?

Dr. Kara will conduct a thorough examination to determine the cause of your joint dysfunction or mobility restriction and then design a custom care plan to help you meet your specific goals. If cold laser therapy can help you, she will incorporate it into your overall care plan. There is no additional fee for this service.

Using a concentrated beam of light in the infrared and near-infrared spectrum, the cold laser saturates the targeted area with light energy. Your cells convert this energy to support and enhance cellular function. This increased cellular function helps to reduce pain and inflammation, and may facilitate and speed healing.

Does Laser Therapy Hurt?

Cold laser therapy uses light from the spectrum that we’re already exposed to in our daily life—it’s just a concentrated form of that light. Low level laser light therapy is sometimes called “cold laser therapy” because it does not produce heat.
